What's the difference bewteen beginner, intermediate, and pro tenor saxophones?

I'm looking to but a tenor and I want to know what the difference between beginner, intermediate, and pro tenors. Is it the weight? I'm gonna be using it mostly for jazz and school so which one is best? I'm an early teen by the way, if that makes a difference in the choices.
