I need to lift a corner of my driveway so that water doesn't go under the garage. Can I put asphalt on asphalt?

The drain spout empties right over that corner and if I use the spout to take the water out about 6 feet I can prevent water from going under the garage. But then the spout is in the way of the plow and people can trip on it. Can I use asphalt on asphalt to correct this?
