Should i file my taxes jointly or seperated?

I got married a year ago. We have 4 childre. My husband has alway claimed 2 and i have claimed 2. We dont know if we should file joinlty or seperated. i want to know what are the advantages and disadvantages of either choice. I live in AZ.
