Broke up with him?

so about two nights ago... i broke up with my online bf. i broke up with him because during the three weeks that we went out, he never called me at all, only talked to me online. another reason is because he lives far from me(he lives in san jose, and i in san diego). another reason is because he was never really attentive to my feelings at all.... like he would take long to respond to my IMs, and would rather play his counterstrike games instead of talk to me. but dont get me wrong though... we were in love and even had plans of meeting each other in real life... but it was just the ways he treated me(what i listed above) that made me break up with him... im kinda regretting it though. basically what im asking is did i do the right thing or not?
