There is a relatively inexpensive paperback, The Search for the Twelve Apostles. I can't remember the author. It's not scholarly, but I remember there being some footnotes and references that you should be able to follow. By the way, if you are working on a disseration, you shouldn't be looking for help here!!!!!!!
