Got done with MEPS, filling out SF-86 and just got a speeding ticket...?

I'm trying to get into the Coast Guard. Everyone told me I stood no chance, because i'm 26, I have debt and a GED. Well, I got into college, consolidated all of my debt and was told if everything goes well I can get into boot camp as early as the beginning of next year, maybe 3 or 4 months after my birthday this year, so I wouldnt require a waiver. I scored a 77 on my ASVAB and completed MEPS without a hiccup. My recruiter told me after I left to avoid getting in trouble with the law or getting tickets, but the only day I got one for going 10 over the limit while ping someone. I wasnt driving 10 over the whole time I was trying to get around someone and didnt see the cop hiding under the bridge. Im going to pay it in 30 days, since all of my income recently went to my college since I couldnt get financial aid. Im doing a lot to get in. Im very persistent. Will this ticket do any damage?
