Are there any forests near Boston Machusetts? like an hour drive or something?

Sure. Tons. The Lynn Woods, sorta. Anywhere up off of route 2 west of Concord or so. Pretty much anywhere outside of 495. The Berkshires. Most of southwestern NH. I'm less familliar with the Blue Hills in Canton, but I get the impression that those are foresty.
